How do we stack up (pricing, etc.)?
So... we did some checking around to see what it would cost to get similar things done at other places...  To be fair and clear, this isn't quite an apples to apples across the board, but it will give you an idea of what you could expect.  Here's what we found:

COMPANY 3:
(larger marketing firm)

(the proposal they sent us was several pages, so this is a basic summary)

Our fee for this scope of work is $3,850 based on payment in full at start of project. If you wish we will also do the project on half down and half in 30 days at a slightly increased cost or $2,100 down and $2,100 in 30 days.

1. We will design a new logo for your company. This is not intended to be a major logo development project, but will be a simple, workable logo design.
2. Website concept. This will be a complete redesign of your existing site, with a new look and expanded plus sample videos.

3. We will design business cards, letterhead and envelopes for your based on your logo and website look.

4. We will provide print-ready art, plus a version of the letterhead you can print out from Word if you wish.

5. If you wish we will provide quotes for printing these.

Again, in the interest of clarity, it is important to note that only Company 2 offers any actual physical printing.  The others (as is the case with many marketing companies or marketing packages) are charging for the design only.  After you pay them, you need to pay a printer in addition to their fee.  Also, NONE of them include video, which is now an essential part of any corporate web presence.  With Ready Set Biz, all but our most basic package includes video, and printing is INCLUDED in every package.
